The SSB is a very specialised job, hence we have extremely specialised & seasoned faculty comprising of qualified senior retired Army/Air Force/Naval officers, having vast experience as assessors at various SSBs, Le. Group Testing Officer (OTO), Interviewing Officer (IO) and the Psychologist. They all are trained professionals at the Defence Institute of Psychological Research (DIPR), New Delhi, under the MOD. Interactive sessions with the candidates are held during two weeks of structured training capsule. Various aspects of personality traits of a candidate are discussed and requisite feedback for corrective follow up, to, improve upon those weak areas is given.
Personality Development:
Cultural activities, Individual Obstacles, Photography. Stage shows, Music & Dramatics, Adventure Camps, including Mountaineering, Trekking, Rock Climbing, Kayaking, River Rafting, Camping and Technical Tours to Science City, War Memorials, Heritage Sites etc. Entire focus during the academic session is, to harness and develop various personality facets of an individual candidate. Varied kind of cultural/vocational & endurance related sports activities, form part of the confidence building measures & overall personal development of an individual.
